The Last One

Remember the most substantial present that Ck had received was the Raoul Wallet? It was the last surprise that Angeline had planned for Ck on his 27th birthday.

The initial plan was to steal his Identity Card and buy him a phone with the upgrade of his plan. However, Angeline did not want to go to jail for committing a crime. Therefore, a wallet is a better choice when compared.

Raoul seems like a good brand for a banking executive and the decision was made with no fuss. Thus, Angeline bought the wallet and gave it to him upon their check-in at Marina Mandarin Hotel.

It was indeed a surprise for Ck because he thought all the surprises had ended on the day before. All in all, Angeline must be the biggest surprise because she could be so sweet (once again)!

An Asian Choice

Angeline ended the previous entry with the conclusion of her being the sweet partner. Somehow, Angeline's friends are not really convinced of this. That is alright because Angeline is going to make her friends believe her right away.

After coffee, Angeline told Ck that she should take a walk to Chinatown Point where Aunt Jessie's office is located at, as they needed to book the Singapore Airlines tickets for Taiwan. Initially, Ck thought that Angeline must be cuckoo because Angeline was wearing a pair of 3-inch heels. However, he caved in when Angeline insisted.

Angeline was not being cuckoo. Angeline MUST walk to Chinatown Point because the route would pass by Riverwalk where Angeline had make a reservation at Jumbo with Ck's friends waiting.

In a way, Angeline literally tricked Ck into the surprise. Upon arrival at Riverwalk, Angeline told Ck that she needed to use the toilet. She also suggested that Ck used the toilet too. While he was inside, Angeline rushed to Jumbo to meet up with the rest.

Once he was out, Ck rang Angeline and directions were given to him until he reached the table to find everyone (Hazel, Alan, Alex and Angeline) waiting for him! Thankfully, Angeline made the right choice of choosing Asian food over other cuisines because Ck enjoyed the seafood feast very much. Practically, everyone enjoyed the seafood feast to a varying degree!

Add 1 to the Total

On 22nd August 2009, Ck added another 1 year to the total of 26 years on Gaia. Being the romantic Angeline, she planned a series of surprises for him. It really took a lot of determination for Angeline in order not to burst her excitment in front of Ck.

Let's begin with the ultimate! Angeline planned for an afternoon excursion for Ck to the 'MINT MUSEUM OF TOYS' located at Seah Street. Being the fanatic, Ck is practically in love with the place. The afternoon was well-spent with extreme photo-taking, rest and relax on the couches and reminiscing the childhood memories.

After spending about 1 hour odd at the Museum, Angeline realised that she really had a lot of photographs waiting for her to edit. Thus, she brought Ck to TCC along Seah Street where she could have some peace editing her masterpieces. Of course, Angeline is not that mean to throw him aside doing nothing. In fact, Angeline planned the afternoon in this manner, so that she could surprise him with a book to read and relax for the rest of the afternoon. Angeline could be so sweet (at times).
