Today is the 10 August 2007 & I HAVE TO COME BACK TO WORK whereas all the MOE registered schools are on 'school holiday'.. sickening.. traffic was surprising good this morning.. (because lazy parents dun have to fetch their children to school before rushing off for work.. that is what I called the 'MMR' = MAD MORNING RUSH! I took around half an hour to reach work.. which is nearly half the time I need to take during a normal weekday.. damn those who are still sleeping while I made my way to work..
Went out with Wa, Jam & Jo on wednesday after work.. popped over to Bugis to have dinner at Sketches.. hm.. was slightly disappointed with the food.. we ordered a Beef Pepperoni Sandwich, a Salmon Fettuccine in cream sauce and a Jumbo Platter (Chix Wings, Calamari & Cheese Sticks).. the serving of the food was pretty pathetic.. especially the sandwich.. I think it is more appropriate for Jo.. might be even too little for him.. wahahaha.. gossiped about the whatever and anything before, during and after dinner.. Satisfying!
Wa gave me a lift after that.. continued the you-know-what session in the car.. she was telling me that she was playing with BB's cellphone (her bf la.. who else) the day before and happened to chance upon a sms sent by one of his friends.. the sms HAPPENED to have words like 'DEAR' and 'LOVE U'.. of course she was heart wrenched la.. haha.. word to word from the horse's mouth.. she told me that she was surprisingly calm and went to comfront him and asked him to explain the sms.. and BB claimed that there is nothing gng on btw the 2 of them.. and he even urged Wa to sms the girl using his cellphone to confirm.. what she apparently did.. wow! GUNHO! and the girl apologisd and replied that this is her style of communication with her community of friends.. hm.. and since BB insisted that there is nothing gng on.. and the girl also showed remorse.. Wa decided to let it go.. even though she was heart wrenched (again eh?).. hm.. so I told her the morale of the story honestly from my own opinions.. NEXT TIME DON'T PLAY WITH HIS PHONE.. WHAT U DOESN'T KNOW DOESN'T HURT U..
I guess temper goes down with age.. the older u get.. the more calm u are in facing betrayals.. but that doesnt mean u will ferget and forgive when it happens.. u just don't break down or blow ur top anymore.. the hurt is still being inflicted.. the pain is still unbearable.. but u learn how to deal with it in a more rational manner.. no more screaming and crying ur heart out in public.. no more of those 'I WANT TO DIE' or 'I CANT LIVE WITHOUT U' episodes.. after listening to Wa.. I tend to agree with her.. women tend to gain more emotional control of themselves when they mature with age.. they dun do any of those riddiculous stunts that they performed shamelessly when they were younger.. of course.. it is a good thing.. to show guys who think with the 'doing' head (that is my own term for it) that they are not indispensable after all.. good luck to all those then!
