Behold!

Having read so much about Angeline being the authoritative partner in her relationship with Ck, this entry shall reveal Ck's determination in getting Angeline to do something with (for) him.

About 5 months earlier (or so), Angeline and Ck caught the movie trailer of 'Kung Fu Panda' during one of those movie commericals that Golden Village has offered complimentarily for at least 20 minutes before the start of any movie. Ck was totally captivated by the new cartoon and has been talking about it (thankfully not non-stop).
  1. Angeline and Ck walked past the 'Kung Fu Panda' poster at Golden Village (Great World City). Ck would exclaim, "I want to watch 'Kung Fu Panda'."

  2. Angeline and Ck walked past the 'Kung Fu Panda' poster at the bus stop (at 1 Raffles Link). Ck would exclaim (again), "I want to watch 'Kung Fu Panda'."

  3. Angeline and Ck walked past Bossini that sells 'Kung Fu Panda' T-shirts at Marina Square. Ck would exclaim (once again), "I want to watch 'Kung Fu Panda'."

As a result of the above mentioned (classic) examples, Angeline and Ck went to watch 'Kung Fu Panda' at Golden Village (Vivo City). At least, Angeline could be ensure that the sentence would be extinct after 7 June 2008. If you are wondering about the sentence, Angeline suggests that you better close this window.

Angeline and Ck reached Vivo City about half an hour before the movie was scheduled. Much to Angeline's expectation, Ck was bubbling with excitment and he could not wait for the movie to start. Angeline suggested to take a walk around Vivo City and explore the mall. As it was close to 12am, there was practically no one in the mall and Angeline could only look at the window displays. Angeline presumed that Ck saw the opportunity and started to fool around, imitating the classic 'Kung Fu' move that was on the movie poster. To Ck's dismay, Angeline took out her camera and took a snapshot of it. Without much editing, the effects were definitely amazing and hilarious.

Stealing a glance at her watch, it was time to watch 'Kung Fu Panda'! Hurray! (Angeline is making the sound effect on Ck's behalf). A 94 minutes movie was just right for Angeline. Ck could watch his movie in peace without beeing irritated by Angeline's constant fidgeting. And the bonus for Ck is that he did not have to entertain Angeline throughout the movie, as she was very much engrossed in the cartoon. It was really FUNNY la!

I'm Lovin' It!

Angeline and Ck went to catch Chronicles of Narnia (Prince Caspian) at Great World City. Generally, Angeline likes to watch movies at that place. First, the entrance is the exit, therefore Angeline doesn't have to walk one big round to get back to the shopping mall when she leaves the cinema. Second, Great World City is not as crowded as the rest of the cinemas in Singapore, therefore Angeline doesn't have to squeeze in the crowd with strangers.

As the movie would start at only 12.15am (fliter another 20 minutes for commericals and previews), Angeline and Ck have another 2 hours to spare before it starts. As TCC was still under renovation, Angeline and Ck only had Mac Cafe as their option before they entered the cinema. Angeline supposed that a White Chocolate Raspberry Cake and Mango Smoothie would be enough to entertain them for 2 hours.

Ck was more than happy to spend 2 hours reading his novel, whereas Angeline got restless and started playing with her phone after 1 hour. Other than snapping here and there, Angeline has nothing to entertain herself practically.

Thankfully (fortunately for Ck), the snapping here and there was good enough to occupy Angeline for another hour. Angeline was looking forward to the movie, as she had enjoyed the first. Naturally, she has presumed the second one would be good as well.

True enough, Prince Caspian was as good as (if not better than) the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Nonetheless, the running time for the movie was a little bit too long for Angeline. Her bio-clock started ringing after one and a half hour and she started to fidget endlessly till the end of the movie.

Honestly, Angeline wonders if Ck ever gets irritated when Angeline starts to fidget (without fail) after sitting down for an hour and a half.

P/S: Narnia is being spelled wrongly in the photo (once again - think *Gastronomia*). However, Angeline is still too lazy to make the changes. Oh well!

Synopsis:
A series of intertwining tales involve 'pleasure seekers and pleasure providers' during the course of one night in Geylang, Singapore's red-light district. There are three distinct stories, united only by the presence of characters from all the stories in a streetside eatery.

Jonathan, who has yet to lose his virginity, is escorted around Geylang by his army buddy, Kiat, who wants to help his friend make his passage into manhood. The two men visit various brothels, where the touts bestow the various qualities and nationalities of their women, who hail from China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and elsewhere. Jonathan eventually settles on a young Chinese woman whom he envisions being wrapped in a towel.

A teenage girl is called to meet an experienced pleasure provider in a hotel room, where she is servicing a heavyset older man, who wants to take the younger girl's virginity. The girl is followed to the hotel by a young man named Chris. When she goes in the hotel room, Chris sits outside and waits.

A jaded prostitute in a red dress gets in a convertible with a man. She later shows up at the streetside restaurant and pays a young busker for his 'special song', which he doesn't end up singing, and instead is taken back to the woman's room.

Ck & I caught the movie last saturday at Shaw Towers. I walked out of the cinema bewildered. Throughout the movie, I had asked Ck a total of 3 times if the movie was going to end soon. Each time, he replied, "The running time states that the show is less than one and a half hour. Soon, dear." That must have been one of the longest 84 minutes of my life.

Indeed, this movie was too artistic for me to enjoy. The stories were jumbled up and the changing of scenes confused me even more. To me, there is no logical flow of events and it took me some time to figure what was happening throughout the movie. It was indeed a test of my intelligence and patience.

However, I wouldn't deny that there were certain parts of this movie that I had enjoyed.

The NS boy (Jonathan) took out a few boxes of condoms and asked the prostitute, "ni xi huan you na yi ge?" (Which one do you prefer to use?) He then went on to promote the condoms literally. For example, "zhe ge ke yi sha ..." (This one can kill... - you-know-what.), "Zhe ge heng bao, bi jiao you gan jue. (This one is thin and got better feel.) & "Zhe ge you kou wei de. (This one got flavour.) To which she replied, "ni yi ci guo ke yi you zhe yang duo ah?" (You mean you can use so many condoms at one go?) - WAHAHA!

While the NS boy (Jonathan) was making out with the prostitute in the room, his friend (Kiat) was waiting for him outside. Unfortunately, he was harrassed by a pimp who tried very HARD to clinch a deal with him. The pimp said, "ru huo ni xi huan hei se de, wo ye ke yi jie shao yin du de nu hai gei ni. (If you like Indian girls, I can also recommend you.) - WOOHOO!

T
he NS boys parted way after they left the brothel, with Kiat looking rather 'tulan' (pissed off). He walkd aimlessly around Geylang and stopped in front of a vending machine. He stared hard at the machine and images appeared. Two bodies intertwined closely and the guy began to kiss his lover softly, the neck, the ear, the neck again and then the nipples on the rather-muscular chest. - EXPECTED!

The jaded prostitute gave her client a blow job in his BMW convertible along the busy streets of Geylang. She was picked up by the client along the road, and she got into his car. As he drove off, she lowered her head and the action began. - STUNNED!

The client drove to an open-space carpark and parked the car there. The client leaned against the back seat and they made out with the jaded prostitute working on top of him. Because it was a BMW convertible, the jaded prostitute was filmed thrusting in and out literally. - AROUSED!

After the teengage girl was unable to give the client a satisfying blow job, he asked for the experienced pleasure provider (EPP) to do it for him. She walked to him calmly and smashed the lamp on his head. - GOOD FOR HIM!

The EPP, teenage girl and Chris went for supper together. The girl walked away for a while leaving the EPP and Chris together. The EPP then started smoking and offered one to Chris. He accpeted and she attempted to light it for him. For what-so-ever reason/s, the lighter decided to go on strike and he ended up using her cigrette as the igniter. - AWESOME!

The EPP and Chris tried to communicate with each other using gestures (EPP not knowing any English and Chris not knowing any Chinese). The EPP took out a photograph of her daughter when she was young and told Chris that she is 'piao liang' (pretty). Chris nodded and repeated 'piao liang' after her. - TOUCHING!

The jaded prostitute apparently paid a busker to sing her a 'special song'. He then followed her home. When she was home, she went to take a shower while the busker waited for her in the room. For what-so-ever reason/s (again), he started to stripped. And for what-so-ever reason/s (once again), he put back all his clothes when she came out of the shower. - LAME!

The movie started with the teenage girl looking at fishes in the aquarium and it ended with the bf looking at fishes in his aquarium at home. - GOOD ANALOGY!

The Seventh Month - The month in the Chinese Lunar Calendar when the Gates of Hades are thrown open. During this period, ghosts and spirits and all departed souls make their annual pilgrimage back into the land of the living.

In the seventh month, Chinese folks in countries like Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong burn incense and joss sticks, conduct prayers and make offerings to the returning dead. In Singapore, however, they take the business of placating and entertaining the spirits one step further. They have "getai" - makeshift concerts which pop up all over the island.

Each year, more than 500 of these concerts take place during the Hungry Ghosts Month. Entertainers lined up include comedians, magicians, opera performers and singers with garish costumes and even more elaborate dance choreography.

Royston Tan's new movie 881 unfolds against this unique cultural backdrop in Singapore.
Two Singaporean girls join together to form the Papaya Sisters, a getai group that sings at performances during the seventh lunar month. Coached by their seamstress Ling Yi, the Papaya sisters struggle at first because they have no “feel” in their voices. As a last resort, they appeal to Aunt Ling’s estranged twin sister, the Goddess of Getai, for help. She grants them their wish, but warns them the price will be high. Rule No.5 states that they shall not love or be loved by any man.

The Papaya sisters hit the getai circuit and sing their hearts out with their newfound “feel”. Big Papaya is pursuing her dream in spite of strong parental objections. Little Papaya, being an orphan, is in a personal race against time to realize her potential. Like her deceased parents, Little Papaya suffers from cancer and has little time left. Through their perseverance, hard work and Aunt Ling’s amazing costumes, the Papayas become the most popular sister act in town. They use their fame to help raise funds to help Chen Jin Lang, who is suffering from cancer. But they are soon devastated by the death of their idol, Chen Jin Lang. While Little Papaya grieves, Big Papaya finds solace in the arms of Guan Yin.

Unknown to them, rival sister group Durian Sisters have become intensely jealous of the Papayas' success, and are determined to trip them up by messing up their schedule. With the help of their gangster Godfather, the Durians succeed in shutting the Papayas out of many getai. They are ruthless in their underhand attacks on the Papayas, using magical darts to hurt their rivals. Guan Yin cannot defend them, and even the Goddess is appalled by the tactics employed by the Durians. Although she grants the Papayas whatever celestial powers she can bestow, she warns them that there is a limit to her powers.

At a confrontation, the Durians challenge the Papayas to a showdown. The stakes are high: whoever loses will leave the getai scene for good. The Papayas accept, and start preparing for the big day – new costumes, new songs, new dances. The movie climaxes with a dramatic musical battle. Both sides pull out all the stops to win over the audience. But as the fight becomes more intense, the Durians attack with their laser darts and the Papayas retaliate with their celestial powers. As last, Little Papaya succumbs to her illness and passes away soon after.

I caught the movie [881] on saturday night with CK at Bishan Junction 8. Prior to watching the movie, I actually went to surf the internet for its synposis and read a number of blogs that gave good review about the movie. In fact, most ppl praised Royston Tan for producing such a good moive. That is why I was slightly disappointed when I left the cinema. Theoretically, I should have enjoyed it much more than I would expect myself to.(No offence taken.)

My two cents worth: I dun understand the plot to a large extent. To that, I was even wondering am I breed locally? How it that possible that I dun even get a local movie? OK! I know what is 'Qi Yue Ge Tai'. I know what is the purpose of it - To serve as a form of entertainment for those 'Hao Xiong De' who roams the streets every seventh month of the lunar calendar. But I dun get the plot! I have to ask CK to tell me what is gng on and explained it to me when we walked to the carpark to collect the car.

Can someone clarify these few questions?
  1. Is this 'Godness of Getai' human or God? - (She lives in a temple and behaves like a God.. but she happenes to be the twin sister of Ling Yi. And you mean she has the power to make Little Papaya contract cancer like her parents just because Big Papaya and Guan Yin kisses? Plus you mean she has the ability to take away the illness from Little Papaya when Big Papaya ask her to be merciful and she is willing to take the suffering for her because she is the one who has sinned in the first place? So what makes her?)
  2. What is the role of the magical feathers in this show? - (It doesn't seem too logical for any God to bestow powers to ppl in this sense? You mean the feathers will help the Papaya Sisters to sing really well if they wear it during their performanace? I think I can better understand the part that Guan Yin wanted to pluck out a feather from the rooster to keep as souvenir when he planned to sold it away.)
  3. Is Guan Yin really DEAF? - (How come he can play music and listen to it using the headphones? NO SENSE right? He can response to ppl most of the time pretty quickly. I think my response is much slower as compared to him. HAA!)
  4. What is the matter with the mother of Big Papaya? - (All I know is she doesn't like Big Papaya to sing 'getai' but WHY? And didnt she use to be a singer as well? What happened? I was expecting an answer somewhere in the movie.. but NOTHING.. or I miss it again?)
  5. Who wins the competition? - (There wasn't a clear-cut result, or was there?)

Alright. It's not fair to say that this movie is lousy.. because it is NOT! Give CREDITS to the songs.. they are really captivating Hokkien songs.. and MORE CREDITS TO MINDEE ONG & YEO YANN YANN.. they are the ones who bring this movie alive.. with thier ingenious tongue-twister of song titles in front of the 'Godness of Getai' and fascinating costumes that they wore during their performances. I went to surf YouTube for the songs.. n FOUND a good collection. Yeah!

Just knocked off from work.. still need to run some errands for the school later.. decide to blog for a while before i lock up the school..

Attended CK's grandfather's birthday dinner last night with almost all his relatives.. shared a table with his cousins (April & Micheal.. Jessie & Victor.. Steve & Chirstine.. Mun San & Liting.. plus 3 children).. boy.. they were sure thirsty.. if i got it right.. i think the few of them (Victor, Michael, Steve and CK) drank at least 15 bottles of beers at the dinner.. but they were good company.. especially Victor.. he sure is a natural entertainer.. he kept all of us laughing throughout the dinner.. and he invited all of us over to his house for second round.. for that.. i think they drank a total of 10 bottles or so.. cant really rem.. because everyone was playing cards and the host (Victor) just kept asking all to drink and offered to open more bottles as the rest played.. the best part is they are planning to have another drinking session (this time round.. they are planning to drink hard liqour) on 11 Aug 2007.. long weekend break what.. thanks to National Day.. was thinking of taking leave on 10 Aug 2007.. wow.. that means really long weekend.. wahahaha.. =)

Dinner was not too bad.. with seafood that i am allergy too.. haha.. so apparently i didnt take much.. luckily i ate a slice of bread before gng for dinner.. if not.. i will die of starvation.. wahaha..

Watched [Harry Potter - The order of the phoenix] on sat night.. TOTALL DISAPPOINTMENT for me n CK.. we were both expecting more actions and storyline.. but was so disappointed with the movie as compared to the novel.. a lot of part was missing in the movie.. and i guess for those who didnt read the novel.. it could be quite confusing for them.. yesh.. PPL LIKE ME! but in the end (somehow).. i still managed to get the story.. well.. hopefully the next movie will be much better.. =)

Okie.. that's all for the moment.. I am gng off! Bye!

[ OpeN sEasOn ]

I just watched a movie recently with CK on sunday at Toa Payoh Entertainment Centre.. we intended to watch Happy Feet at 7.00pm.. but to MY disappointment.. my daddy was late in coming home.. thus CK went ahead to check out the rest of the movie at a later time.. in the end.. we caught Open Season at 7.45pm.. =)

I LOVE THE SHOW.. another cartoon that is screening in the cinemas now (of course the other one is Happy Feet).. it was hilarious.. but I am still quite keen to catch Happy Feet.. Jam was just telling me the other day that the show is super nice.. n I am a cartroon LOVER.. so I suggested to CK that we could bring Kelly n Junior to watch Happy Feet together.. hm.. tentatively only.. because we dun have the time.. haha..

I got the synopsis from Cathay's webby.. I strongly recommend this movie to those parents who have no idea what to do with their children during the long Dec holidays.. haha.. it will keep the children entertained for at least one and a half hour or so.. pls buy popcorn to bribe the children to remain silent throughout the duration.. wahaha..

The Movie Poster

Synopsis of [Open Season]

In the tranquil mountain town of Timberline, Boog, a grizzly bear with no survival skills, enjoys an idyllic existence. He spends his days as the star of the town's nature show and his nights living a life of luxury in the garage of Park Ranger Beth, who raised him since he was a cub. Every town has a bully and Timberline's is the paranoid uber-hunter, Shaw.

When he drives into town with Elliot, a scrawny, fast-talking wild mule deer strapped to the hood of his truck, Boog is moved by Elliot's pleas for help and against his better judgment, frees him. Elliot follows Boog home, intent on returning the favor by 'freeing' Boog from his garage 'captivity'. He introduces the bear to a world of sweet temptations he has never known. But when the bear's true instincts emerges, events quickly spin out of control.

Right.. hope u wil enjoy the show as much as I did (IF you are gng to watch it, of course!).. cheers.. =)

[ LaTe NiGhT MoVIe = siNkiNg oF jaPaN ]

Just finished my tuition.. most prob i am gng to nap till 6 plus after blogging.. feeling sleepy again.. hee..

went out to meet my financial advisor (Pauline.. CK introduced us) after work yesterday.. she HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that i surrendered my PruCash Policy asap.. because that plan doesnt suit my needs AT ALL.. it caters to ppl who have the spare cash to be involved in a 25 years MATURATION time span.. argh.. as a result.. i had to bear the lost of S$2,528.46.. FUCK IT! that is a HUGH SUM OF MONEY TO ME NOW MAN! especially when i need the cash to go for my Bachelor.. if Blogger allows me to type [FUCK IT] ALL OVER MY BLOG.. yes.. i will.. this policy doesnt make sense to me AT ALL after Pauline had explained the sums clearly.. y shd someone paid ard S$210.00 monthly to only get a sum insured of merely S$30,500.. whereas another insurance company is offering a monthy premium of $100.00 and the sum insured reaches as high as S$100,000.00.. if that eg is still not clear enough.. let put words in this way.. u can pay Insurance Comany ABC S$26.00 and they give u S$1000.000.. on the other hand.. Insurance Company XYZ collects S$8.00 from u and they return u S$1000.00.. if u pass KINDERGARTEN maths.. u shd be able to understand this simple concept.. FUCK IT!

ferget it.. i rather cut loses now than to punch in more money and SEE NO RETURNS.. because apparently.. i DO get some cash value by the third year (PruCash policy said so).. which is a pathetic sum of S$1500.00.. after the S$7500.00 that i had given them for the three years.. i rather lose S$2528.46 NOW.. and change my policy.. once bitten twice shy.. i will definitely be more cautious when i sign up for any new policy.. a gentle reminder to all my dear friends.. if u havent sign up for any insurance policy yet.. pls look for one that cater to ur needs.. and not one that will EAT u up eventually.. my best wishes.. =)

right.. money aside.. let talk about entertainment.. went out with CK, Marcus and Joelle to watch [Sinking of Japan] last night.. decided to go for the show at ard 7 plus..haha.. booked the tickets and met up ard 11 plus.. cheers..

The movie poster of [Sinking of Japan]

okie.. 3 stars for the movie.. i particularly enjoyed the graphics.. such a sight to see 'real-life' buildings collasping right in front of u.. the bonus was the chain explosion that broke off the plate.. (Marcus thought it was rather fake).. haha.. a geographical movie? most probabaly.. since i studied History when i was in IJ.. (so did Joelle.. we were in the same class and sat beside each other).. i didnt manage to understand some parts of the scientific explanations that were given by the mesy hair guy (okie.. apparently he acted as a smart-ass scientist).. hm.. n i agreed with the rest.. it was QUITE a 'draggy' movie.. right.. CK proposed that if u have the time to kill.. this movie will entertain u throughout.. cheers..

HOME-SWEET-HOME after the movie.. no plans for tonight yet.. maybe chicken wings at Toa Payoh Lorong 8 or Ba Chor Mee at Lorong 4? haha.. finally i am beginning to think of eating food.. Marcus showed me SUPER REVOLTING photogrpah.. it depicts a woman's breast being infested with maggots.. I SWEAR.. u can practically see the maggots in the holes of the woman's breast.. she had caught a rare South American/Africa (i forgot which is which) virus and the insect laid eggs on the bra that she had purchased.. the eggs hatched when she wore the bra.. and there u go.. the maggots grew in her BREAST.. making holes and eating away her breast flesh.. damn gross.. (i rem the story as such.. Marcus got a better idea of it.. ask him if u want to know more).. the thought of the photogrpah evokes puking instantly.. I AM SERIOUS.. well.. i didnt read the warning and i was happily eating a bar of chocolate when i saw the photograph.. i threw away the ENTIRE bar and went straight to PUKE.. there goes my lunch.. DAMN! sorry.. i dun have the URL to that website.. (pls contact Marcus for more info.. thank you).. wahaha..

will like to say a big [Thank You] to Wayne for helping me to fix my blog.. **muacks**.. FYI.. i had lost two entires in MY OWN ATTMEPT TO TROUBLESHOOT.. i admit i am a HTML idert.. i am a HTML idert.. i am a HTML idert.. wahaha..

'RINGGGGGGGGGGGGG'.. it's time for nap-nap.. bye.. have a good sat night.. boo-gee boo-gee.. hee.. cheers.. =)

[ 1 yEaR aNNiVeRsaRy ]

sat evening.. just woke up from my nap.. still feeling a bit sleepy.. i spent my whole day sleeping.. haha.. recharging after a week's work.. hm.. no idea where to go later.. still rotting at home.. oh k.. fine.. i shd have been more honest.. i am waiting for the car so that i can drive out later.. haha..

went out with ck to celebrate TGIF (i had suggested Pasta Fresca along Bukit Timah Road.. got the craving for the seafood soup).. n unintentionally our 1 year anniversary.. hm.. the exact date shd be today(21.10.06).. since i was quite stressed over certain work issues.. hm.. very tempted to open a bottle over dinner.. so we got for ourselves a bottle of white wine.. during the first toast.. ck mentioned 'after twevle'.. in words.. i would consider that was the celebration.. haha..

Elfo (Pasta Fresca's House Wine)

ordered our main courses as well (in the end.. i didnt order my soup.. haha).. the desgin of the menu had changed (more user-friendly.. it used to be quite messy and cluttered).. so did the servings.. it used to be super large that could feed almost two adults.. but not.. i think one serving is just right for a person.. however the prices went up.. isnt that strange.. i rem i paid ard S$10.90 for a plate of carbonara during my last visit.. now.. i am paying S$14.70.. but the taste remained quite the same.. therefore i am not really penalising that place.. after all.. i really enjoy the alfresco dinning..

CK was sipping the white wine while waiting for his FOOD

main course for ck loked superb good.. he ordered some sort of pasta stuffed with minced mutton.. cream base pasta.. it was one of the chef's specialties.. good choice.. because it really smelled, tasted and looked good.. haha.. in chinese.. they called it 'se xiang wei ju quan'.. haha.. my chinese improved!!! i ping-ed that out myself.. haha.. **beams**.. as mentioned above.. my main course was the TRADITIONAL carbonara.. haha.. but i love it.. n they gave me lotsa of bacons.. haha.. wow WOW wow.. fattening!!!

ME at Pasta Fresca (Bukit Timah)

chatted over dinner (ya la.. ya la.. i gossiped over dinner.. haha).. decided to do some marking (not that i really have a choice.. because i had to explain to mich the following morning).. gotta finish marking a 'O' levels pure chemistry paper 1 (luckily its MCQ.. if not i will really faint).. whose brain can really function after a good dinner and SOME wine.. haha..

ck read his notes (given by his BOSS.. haha).. happily chilling out.. and all of a sudden we heard a LOUD CRASH.. i swore it was LOUD lor.. concluded that it must be an accident.. and pretty near us.. since we can hear it so clear.. and the crowd began to gather.. almost everyone along that stretch of road turned their heads or walked towards the pavement to take a closer look.. of course ck n i went as well.. my gosh.. this is one of the worst car accident that i had ever seen.. looking at the impact.. i believed the driver was trying to make a u-turn(near 6th avenue).. he should have turned too fast.. n hit straight onto the trailer (i think that is wat it is).. wow.. the passenger's [cui ke].. really man.. the tyre rim was flatten and the driver could just hold it.. my goodness.. windscreen also gone.. the engine also GONE.. (that means $$$$$ also gone).. but LUCKILY.. the driver was fine.. he looked fine.. but i think just shaken by the impact of the accident.. anyone would be.. the ambulance and the police came and didnt leave until 11 plus.. i rem the accident took place ard 9 plus.. the whole stretch kena traffic jam for the whole time that i was there.. my goodness.. one good thing.. but the time ck n i were abt to leave.. the traffic is much better.. so no effect on us really.. phew..

hm.. as i was typing this blog.. i was making plans for later.. so i am heading to Lau Pa Sat (i think that is how it is being spelled).. haha.. with ck, marucs and joelle.. after that.. we will decide later.. haha.. have a good weekend.. cheers..

[ rOb-b-HooD ]

sunday morning.. i woke up ard 9 plus 10.. n i fell asleep at ard 5.. argh.. n i didnt really get a good sleep.. most of the time.. i was just drifting in 'space'.. i was dreaming about what i was thinking about before i fell asleep.. in the end.. i got a couple of different segments of werid dreams.. one was about the convsersation during supper that i took with ck, marcus and bangli.. the other was about work.. and the other one was abt family.. haha.. n the best part is i would wake up automatically after each segment.. as though having a half time.. then continue to think abt other stuff.. then fell asleep n dream about it.. i think that is what the chinese saying goes 'ri you suo si.. ye you suo meng'.. haha..

went out with ck, marcus and bangli to watch a midnight movie 'Rob-B-Hood' starring Jackie Chan, Louis Koo, Charlene Choi, Gao Yuan Yuan, Cherrie Ying, Michael Hui, Theresa Carpio and Yuen Biao.. a hilarious show that got the audience choked on their laughters.. n i was one of them.. i particularly like the part when Jackie was hiding the baby under his clothes to prevent the lady landlord from seeing the boy.. and the baby sucked his NIPPLE.. wow.. laugh until i peng.. his expression was super comical (though he seemed to be in lots of pain).. haha.. at the end of the show.. when they showed the NG.. i realised that they actually applied honey on Jackie's nipple.. so that the baby will suck it.. haha.. quite smart.. and it looked almost real.. as though the baby was hungry as portrayed in the movie.. this movie also starred a lot of stars.. the list included nicholas tse, shawn yue, and others.. that is the two distinctive ones that i could rem clearly.. because they acted as GAYS.. haha.. recommended this movie for a relaxing time.. laugh it off and enjoy urself.. maybe 4 stars out of the five.. (BECAUSE THE BABY IS SO CUTE.. that explained the 4 stars.. all goes to the baby.. the expression that the director managed to capture is priceless.. watch it and u will know..) hee..

Look at the BABY!

before we went for the show.. we were early.. by half an hour if not more earlier.. and we know that GV doesnt start on time.. they love to show us INTERESTING advertisement that we are so captivated everytime.. as if.. haha.. the guys decided to go to the arcade.. marcus went to play on this Japanese dectective game.. it required the whole body movement of the player.. as the sensor can detect if you are douching from the enemy.. if not u might be 'considered' shot.. wow.. i thought it was rather thrilling.. i think it is the first time i came across such technology.. shall i say the arcade doesnt get to earn my money.. haha.. ck n i went ard looking for other video games to play.. he finally settled down for this fighting game.. cant rem what was all abt.. just rem he fought hard all the way.. i must really compliment that fellow man.. that was the first time i witnessed someone using S$0.50 to finish the entire game.. i must say he is really good.. i love the way he handled the buttons and the joystick.. looked kinda pro.. haha.. really.. to that extent i took some pictures while that fellow was so engrossed in his game.. grins..

ck was totally engrossed in his game.. =)

went over to the old time favourite bukit timah road for supper.. took my fav bee hoon goreng (thai style).. but shared with ck.. because i wasnt really hungry.. he was the one.. haha.. started chatting as usual... n dunno how the topic could link to the guys' favourite again.. POLITICS.. haha.. i thought we were talking abt the haze and the PSI index.. haha.. it hit as high as 150 last night.. it was so bad.. the entire singapore looked so bloody eerie.. with the haze camouflaging most of the construction.. cant even see that far.. maybe just the headlights of the vehicles driving a few km in front of you.. but definitely not the car.. sickening..

glad that the PSI index was only ard 30 this morning.. just checked it via the NEA website.. not that bad today.. planned to bring alpha out in the afternoon.. he is my 4th uncle's girlfriend's son.. complicated.. not at all.. i dun think so la.. but no one ard me seems to understand the relationship.. haha.. promised him to bring him out shopping last sunday.. n i didnt managed to mk it in the end.. so this weekend is a made up for him.. hee.. must keep promises to children.. they will rem.. i know it because i had to 10 children to myself everyday.. haha..

right.. gotta go n get ready.. my daddy had been asking me to eat my breakfast for the past hour to no avail.. i better go n pacify him.. haha.. tk care all.. have a good n CLEAR sunday.. cheers.. =)
